“Ours is not an age that wants heroes. Ours is an age of envy, in which laziness and self-involvement are the rule. Anyone who wants to shine, who dares to stand above the crowd, is dragged back down by his lackluster and self-appointed “peers.”
We need a great rebirth of the heroic in our world. Every sector of human society, wherever that may be on the planet, seems to be slipping into an unconscious chaos. Only the heroic consciousness, exerting all its might, will be able to stop this slide toward oblivion. Only a massive rebirth of courage in both men and women will rescue the world. Against enormous odds the hero picks up his sword and charges into the heart of the abyss, into the mouth of the dragon, into the castle under the power of an evil spell.”
The previous quote originates from the book King Warrior Magician Lover by Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette. The quote appears on page 41. The entire book discusses the transition from “boy psychology” to “man psychology.” We are living in a world where politicians have run rampant with their own agenda. It appears that many of them could care less about their constituents and are most interested in their own priorities. Whether that is greed, selfishness, religious zest or political party intentions, the needs of the common man are forgotten. As one of my Chiron brothers pointed out in February, 2017 “the collective shadow is erupting on the planet. Wars, chaos, financial and global genocide, human trafficking, organ harvesting and eco destruction are prevalent.” Some of our politicians are reflecting the demonic side of our shadow.

That said it appears we are left to fend for ourselves and hope for the best. I apologize for stating the obvious; however, as a spiritual teacher and a trance channel, I am constantly reminded by the entities I bring forth, while our politicians are creating the world they want, we are creating our world. Granted we must live by the laws that are passed down to us in the physical world, yet, we also abide by the spiritual laws in which we believe and operate.
No doubt, judges and politicians can influence our experience by subjecting us to laws and policies which are not in our best interest. The United States has gone from a melting pot to a massive cauldron of conflict of interest. As mentioned, no matter how much we may dislike our elected officials, regardless of who they are, we must see them as symbols of our own shadow side. Their lack of compassion and respect is rooted deeply somewhere in our own personalities. As they continue to display these aspects through their quote, unquote “service,” they agitate us, irritate us and hopefully motivate us into action. The displays of protest in the United States preceding president Trumps’ election are a perfect example.
As we strengthen our inner core and our connection to our soul, we build our courage. If we can avoid the distraction of wasted negative energy lamenting our politicians’ policies, we can expand our energy in positive ways. We can support the people our politician’s judge. We can open our hearts to those in fear, those who have less than we and those whose’ future is uncertain. We can also open our purses to those causes we still believe in. Finally, we can learn our politician’s agendas, actions, and voting records. If we disagree with any of those, we have the right to vote against those officials in the elections of the future. In the meantime, I am reminded to stop “hating” the politicians I disagree with and send them whatever love I can muster within my being as they also represent the part of me I hate.As newscaster Walter Cronkite finished each evening broadcast, “that’s the way it is.”
The last paragraph sums it all up.
